Turning a User Into a Project Leader
Select Members from the sidebar and then open the Members Manager tab to get started.
Twirl down a member in the list to see their current permissions. Only Group/Super Admins can become project leaders, so Tom doesn't have the Project Leader option.
Once we make Tom a Group Admin, the project leader option appears.
In the permissions column on the far right, the Project Leader status is iconified as the bust of a person wearing a tie.
Adding a Project Leader to an Event
In the first section when creating or editing an event, you can select the project leader you need from the dropdown menu.
You can also set the project leader here in the slide-out of an existing event.
What it Lets You Do
In the dashboard, you can filter events by project leaders. If you are a project leader, you can also use the Additional menu to see only events where you are the project leader.
You also get a few handy notification types only available to project leaders. Here are two examples.
Summary
Project Leaders are an important designation in Crescat, even though they don't open up a whole new world of functionality. Project leaders can quickly find events they manage and must be an admin in their group.
