Creating Running Order Templates

You can either create a running order template from scratch or base it on an existing Running Order. We'll cover both below.

Turn an Existing Running Order Into a Template

If you have created a running order for an event, you can quickly make a template out of it. You will then be able to reuse that running order for other events within your Crescat group.

To get started, click the heading of the existing running order if it's not already open.

Now that the running order is open, you can click the drop-down arrow on the right side of the running order and click, Save as Template.

Then you'll get this pop-up box where you can choose how to store the running order template. The SAVE button will stay disabled until you select the Crescat group to save the template in.

Creating One From Scratch

The Running Order Templates are located under Event Templates inside of the Settings menu in the sidebar.

Once you've arrived, click the Create action button in the upper right.

Fill out the title and start time of the running order. The start time can be adjusted later if an event requires it.

Tip

Before clicking Create, you have an opportunity to rename the colors. The label you set here will be the one shown when users are selecting row colors in the running order later.

Updating the Running Order Template

You can always edit the Running Order Template later if needed.

If it's not open already, click the Running Order Template you'd like to edit, then click the Edit action button in the upper right to start making changes.

Now you can edit the Running Order Template as if you were editing a running order (video).
