      Roles

      Create a Role to define a User's level of access within a festival.

       Roles help you make your festival more manageable. Once users are invited into the festival, it's the roles that dictate what they can see and what they can do within the Crescat Festival. This article will help you create and configure a new Role.

      Locating the Roles

      To get started, open your festival's Settings and Roles under Members.

       

      Creating a New Role

      To create a new Role click Create in the upper right.

       

      Then add a name for the role.

      Tip

      Good conventional naming dictates that you should name the Role after the intended User's responsibility within the festival, not their intended access level. 

      Exemplified in the image above.

      Configuring a Role

      Once created, the new role will appear in the list. Click it to start configuring it.

       

      Now you can review the options and place a tick in anything that sounds like something a person fulfilling this role would need.

       

      Now you can assign the Role to a User.
